Mr. Barrett started his career as a Real-Time Software Engineer supporting the Huntsville Operations Support Center (HOSC), followed by careers working closely with the Space Shuttle Main Engine (SSME) and X-33 Controller Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) programs. Mr. Barrett eventually transitioned into supporting the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Ground Based Midcourse Defense (GMD) program, supporting HWIL, Modeling and Simulation (M&S), System Engineering & Integration (SE&I), and Test & Evaluation (T&E) programs.
For the past several years, Mr. Barrett’s responsibilities have encompassed other tasks including technical business development, a passion he enjoys. While working with BFA Systems, his primary role has been to expand BFA’s customer base with NASA, the DoD, and various commercial operations. He has been a focal asset to BFA’s expansion in supporting not only large contractual ventures, but mentoring smaller, developing corporations as well.
